GREAT NEWS!!!! The guy I contacted was the right owner! Even better news: he was able to get the address of the other guy who still had the dog! That means the dog survived!!!!!!! Turns out, the owner lives reeeaaally close to us, so I stopped by to see the dog and say hi. She had a cone on and was all bandaged, but she looked good. Man, i love happy endings!
