Happy Aloha Monday Tuesday! It was REALLY, REALLY hard to get up at 6:30am today when Tim and I have been sleeping until 11am all weekend. But oh what a good weekend it was... we seriously did nothing. But cook, we cooked a lot. We're getting really dang good at making pizza, I doubt we'll ever buy store bought again...

And I did attempt to make this brioche bread, which actually turned out really well. I didn't get a picture however because Tim cut into it within minutes, soaked it in eggs, milk and cinnamon overnight and made this the next morning:

I really recommend making this bread, it takes NO work and is super yummy. It didn't rise like the site tells you it will, but it rose in the oven when it cooked.

And who doesn't want to see more weird animals from the murals at Kea'au? This is a vampire bat.
